Even if they participate or not in the De-a Arhitectura programs, this one school day activity will offer students the opportunity to acquire new and unique notions about the city and the built environment, in a playful manner, emphasizing the development of imagination and encouraging creativity and critical thinking.
Each school year, we choose a type of activity for each age group. Some activities can take place in the classroom, while others are designed for our partners’ locations – old or new spaces that are valuable examples of architecture in themselves and offer numerous learning opportunities.
Urban exploration activities, under the name Urban Detectives, will give students the chance to get to know, on their own, the locality in which they live, to observe the architecture of buildings in detail, to naturally develop orientation skills, and to ask questions about the quality of the built environment of their locality.
