“Chirping Houses” is a Creative and Fundraising Exhibition of the De-a Arhitectura Association, which has already taken place in two editions in 2014 and 2015.
We believe that the creative process has the power to inspire, and architecture to make the world better built. That’s why we invented this event that brought together inspiration, creation, architecture, nature, education and fundraising.
The exhibition was for sale (silent auction type) and contained both data about the architect who created the house, the concept behind the final product, but also information about the Company that bought the House. With the help of the funds collected, we managed to implement the “DE-a arhitectura in my City” course for two school years, reaching over 6000 3rd and 4th grade children in 250 classes, out of 20 counties, with the support of over 200 volunteer architects across the country.
For the results, (42,000 E summed up to the two editions), our fundraising concept has received the organizers’ special prize at the Gala Oameni pentru Oameni 2014.
